You may feel tired. Physically. Or somewhere deeper inside.

You may sense that something is shifting. That what once worked no longer feels right — and that the new has not yet fully taken shape.

Many of the people who come to me have been strong for a long time. And are now longing to reconnect with themselves. Stress rarely lives only in the mind. It shows up in the body — as tension, restlessness, exhaustion, discomfort or pain.

A longing for clarity, inner calm and a deeper sense of being at home within yourself begins to emerge.

MY WORK

Hello, I’m Selina Clément.

A central focus of my work is the body and the nervous system — because change becomes possible when your nervous system begins to feel safe again.

Many symptoms arise when the body has remained in a state of tension for a prolonged period of time. After intense phases of life — ongoing stress, high responsibility, or experiences such as birth — the nervous system does not always find its way back into balance on its own.

The body continues to hold, even when there is no longer an immediate reason to do so.

Through presence and gentle, intentional touch, the nervous system receives a new message:

You don’t have to keep holding. You are allowed to let go. You can let go.

From here, the body begins to shift — from compensating to regulating.

Over time, this often creates space for:

  • Clarity
  • A deeper sense of calm
  • Trust in your own path
  • And the ability to sense earlier when your system is reaching its limits

WHAT I CAN SUPPORT YOU WITH:

Somatic bodywork can be particularly helpful for:

  • Ongoing fatigue or overwhelm
  • Life transitions or periods of reorientation
  • After intense life phases or birth
  • Postpartum period
  • Inner restlessness or sleep difficulties

  • Psychosomatic symptoms

I also support you during phases of acute stress or while you are waiting for a psychotherapy appointment.

THE PROCESS

I accompany you in my practice spaces in Zurich, in nature, or online — depending on what feels most supportive for you.

We begin with an initial session to explore your situation and your needs. From there, we decide together how to continue. Depending on your situation, I support you over one or several sessions through somatic coaching, Polarity Therapy and/or yoga.

Die verschiedenen Zugänge fliessen in der körperorientierten Begleitung ineinander und ergänzen sich. Was im Vordergrund steht, ergibt sich aus deinem Anliegen und dem, was dein System im jeweiligen Moment braucht.

Polarity Therapy is a holistic approach that brings together insights from Western medicine with the understanding of health found in Eastern traditions. It views the body, thoughts and emotions as interconnected, and supports the body in its natural ability to regulate itself.

The approach is based on a simple principle found in nature: life moves between poles — between tension and relaxation, activity and rest, inhalation and exhalation. Health arises when energy can flow freely between these poles.

When your system is no longer able to switch off, thinking alone is often not enough. Polarity creates a space in which the nervous system can begin to settle again. Through specific touch, as well as gentle stretching and pressure techniques, tension can be regulated and the body’s natural regulatory processes can be supported. Many people experience a deep sense of relaxation, greater inner calm, and a renewed sense of clarity.

Polarity can be supportive in times of stress, exhaustion, sleep difficulties, migraines, psychosomatic symptoms, as well as during periods of inner or outer transition.

 

I am currently in the final year of my Polarity Therapy training and will complete it in April 2027.
